With thoughts turning to our winter schedules we announced that this winter we will be looking to run 6 Coaching workshops across the county with 4 before Christmas then 2 in the new year leading upto our anual Coach Development Day. We would like to see more attendees at these sessions this year and we are sure that they will prove of huge value both in the content and the opportunity to network with other coaches from across the county.

Keith Whiting as chairman of the HCBCA thanked all those who were able to attend our events over the last year and just as a note, the match we watched included 7 Hampshire players who had come up through the County age groups and showed the value that all of us who coach and volunteer within the county are bringing to the game.

Quote of the month.

From Simon Hammond, the words of Kumar Sangakkara:

"When I go in to bat, I try to keep things simple. I try and watch the ball and I try and make sure I’m balanced. Those are the two most important things for me. Everything else I have usually covered through practice."
